In traditional Chinese culture, the liver has an important place in the overall balance of the body and is one of the five organs. Caring for the liver is therefore part of the holistic approach of Yangsheng, which emphasizes food, rest, daily habits, and overall balance.
For this infusion, we have combined four ingredients traditionally used in Chinese wellness practices:
🌰 Jujube — 红枣
Jujube is traditionally appreciated for its nourishing and comforting qualities. It is commonly used in traditional Chinese preparations associated with vitality and overall balance.
🤍 Lotus Seed — 莲子
Lotus seed is traditionally considered a nourishing and balancing ingredient. In Chinese tradition, it is also associated with digestive comfort and overall harmony of the body.
🌼 Chrysanthemum — 菊花
Chrysanthemum is traditionally enjoyed as an herbal infusion. In Chinese tradition, it is particularly appreciated for its refreshing and comforting qualities, especially when the body is associated with sensations of heat or dryness.
❤️ Goji Berry — 枸杞
Goji berries are traditionally valued for their nourishing qualities. They are widely used in Yangsheng preparations associated with vitality and overall balance.
🍵 A combination inspired by Chinese tradition
Jujube, lotus seed, chrysanthemum, and goji come together in a gentle and balanced infusion designed to accompany a wellness routine focused on liver care.
In the Yangsheng approach, caring for the body is not about relying on a single ingredient. It is about cultivating everyday habits such as balanced nutrition, sufficient rest, physical activity, and moments of relaxation.
